  • About This Program

Inspired by Carrie Mae Weems's May Flowers ‐ currently on display in our Vision & Spirit: African American Art | Works From The Bank Of America Collection exhibit ‐ teaching artist Cathay Dawkins will guide participants through creating a colorful floral painting to share with beloved mothers on the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday. Cathay will lead a clear step-by-step process to complete the painting, leaving room for participants to add their creative flare. All experience levels over the age of 21 are welcome to buy a ticket, and all supplies are included with your purchase. One complimentary alcoholic beverage is included with your purchase as well, and more drinks will be available for purchase to be enjoyed during the experience. This is the perfect spring activity to enjoy with your mom or a mother you admire!

Please note: This is an in-person experience outside, and masks are required for participation. In the case of inclement weather, it will be moved to inside our building. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to prepare and get set up. For information on directions and parking, please tap/click here.
