We Are Thankful: Update From Gantt Center CEO

Dear Gantt Center Family,

Over the last couple of weeks, our organization, like many others weighed several options on whether we should reduce our employee base. As it stands, our goal is to retain our hard-working employees for as long as possible. We believe in the value that they bring to the institution and will take this time to forge ahead by working on key organizational strategies that will have a transformational impact throughout Charlotte when we reopen our doors.

We want to say thank you to YOU—our Gantt Center community of supporters— for giving us the opportunity to serve you. We certainly would not have come this far as an organization if it weren’t for your continuous generosity. Yet, there has never been a more critical time to support the Gantt Center. You may choose to do so in any of the following ways:

  1. Sharing our website and mission with a family member or friend.
  2. Interacting with us on our social media channels (@hbganttcenter).
  3. Making a donation to help fund our mission, if your current situation allows.
  4. Renewing your membership or gifting a membership in honor of someone you love.

Beyond the obstacles, let us take a moment to stop, reflect and show gratitude to those around us as we spend more time with family while honoring the social distancing requirements. As we try to look beyond the uncertainties, we can only remain positive with high hopes of getting through this difficult time together.

Together we shall rise,

David R. Taylor
President & CEO
