  • About This Program

The Gantt and Duke Energy present "Live on the Plaza" – a series of free live art and performances throughout the summer and fall, activating Duke Energy's plaza at its corporate headquarters. Designed to turn Uptown into an afternoon artful soundscape, we welcome all to enjoy ... perfect for a lunch date or afternoon break!

September's "Live on the Plaza" features an ensemble band of accomplished musicians, led by singer/songwriter Jason Jet. Interwoven in the show is live music, a blend of covers and original sounds, and a talkback with the band.

Together, the musicians share stories from the road, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look into touring with world-renowned artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Erykah Badu, and more. Through music and conversation, you will gain a unique perspective on what it truly means to perform at the highest level as professional musicians.

Our final "Live on the Plaza" this season is Wednesday, October 8, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Stay tuned for more details!
