Live on the Plaza with B-Man

The Gantt and Duke Energy present Live on the Plaza – a series of free live performances throughout the summer, activating Duke Energy's plaza. The first activation of this series will be a silent disco with B-Man, a North Carolina based DJ. We welcome guests to join us during their lunch break for an afternoon of art & culture. B-Man (Just B-Man, No DJ) is a Virginia-born, North Carolina–based DJ, producer, and music culture storyteller known for turning nostalgia into unforgettable experiences. With roots in South Boston, VA and a sound shaped by Hip-Hop, R&B, and deep sample knowledge. B-Man has built a reputation for bridging generations through music, whether he's rocking a wedding, festival stage, or breaking down the DNA of a classic record.

A respected name in the DJ community, B-Man has performed at major events including Dreamville Festival, where he also stepped into the spotlight as a speaker, leading a TED Talk–style panel on sampling and music creativity.
