  • About This Program

Havana is a city of vivid contrasts: exquisite Spanish architecture, narrow cobbled streets, the vitality of the residents, and of course a time capsule of days gone by.

Come experience Havana through memories, photos and video captured by Gantt Center patrons who arrived in the island nation two days after President Obama restored diplomatic relations.

Join President & CEO David Taylor and fellow travelers to learn about the lasting impact our December 2014 trip had on their lives and in our community. This informal conversation will be moderated by award-winning documentary filmmaker & journalist, Steve Crump.

Hosted by the Gantt Center and Cross Cultural Journeys Foundation, this exciting journey emphasized people-to-people exchanges with locals with an opportunity to explore the energetic world of Cuban music, contemporary art and Afro-Cuban culture.

    Please RSVP by March 2.
