  • About This Program

Enjoy a hands-on art experience for the entire family, inspired by artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Express your street art style with this fun and easy workshop, featuring teaching artist Shane Manier. Join us for the kick-off Family First workshop of 2022, as we play with colorful lines and expressive shapes inspired by neo-expressionist artist Jean Michel Basquiat. During the workshop we will learn about Basquiat's story, as well as how to create a piece in his unique style.

All ages and experience levels are welcome. Although you only need crayons, markers, and paper to participate, you can be creative by adding other coloring materials and various types of canvas to your artwork. Basquiat's work was limitless, and we want the same freedom for your piece!

Masks are required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status.
