About This Program
Make your new year's resolutions in a creative way with collaging! Led by teaching artist Jaillin Johnson, explore with your family an abstract take on the standard vision board. Participants will use cutouts of various materials to place on paper, reflecting what they expect the year to bring. Great for all experience levels and backgrounds.
Ticket purchase includes admission and all supplies. Although it is not required, feel free to bring your own materials to add to your collage.

About the Instructor
Jaillin "Ori Jai" Johnson is an interdisciplinary artist who specializes in mixed media collage, film photography, fiber works android cinema. In 2019 she graduated at Clark Atlanta University with a BFA concentrated in Design and dual minor in Photography and History. She is currently working as lead editor for The Whitaker Group, as well as a practicing and teaching artist. She has worked, taught workshops and classes at institutions and galleries including The Mint Museum, McColl Center for Art + Innovation, The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, Clark Atlanta University Art Museum and University of Maryland Fine Arts Center. Her work has been displayed at The Mint Museum, Goodyear Arts, The Light Factory, BlkMrktClt and various local galleries.
