Family First: Tangled Stories - Building Identity Through Hair & Texture

Ages:
5+
Cost:
$10 per participant
  • About This Program

Guided by artist Nadia Meadows, this workshop encourages storytelling through texture and color, celebrating the diverse ways we express identity and care for ourselves and each other. Using materials like yarn, felt, beads, paper, and synthetic hair, participants will design vibrant items that represent themselves or someone they love. Everyone will leave with a unique piece of art that can be displayed at home as a symbol of family pride and creativity.

Family First is presented by Novant Health
