About This Program
Gratefulness is a feeling and a way of life. November is National Gratitude Month, and we want you to join us and create your own mixed-media gratitude collage. You'll have the opportunity to reflect on the things in life that bring you gratitude and interpret those feelings in your artwork. To make your collage even more personal, you may bring photos, fabric scraps, and any item you want to add to your collage.
Family First is presented by Novant Health

About the Teaching Artist
Kimberly Turner is a jewelry designer, visual artist, visual storyteller, creative director and educational consultant. She designs unique pieces of jewelry, art and short films/campaigns and uses them to tell stories for Elizabeth In Pearls, her business named after her grandmothers - Elizabeth and Pearl. She is inspired by color, pattern, texture, nature and her ancestors. Turner takes that same creativity into classrooms and learning spaces, to facilitate workshops for children, youth and adults.
Your support helps the Gantt present exceptional exhibitions, leading scholars and engaging programs that celebrate the African-American story.
