About This Program
Slow down, look closer, and discover your creativity at the Gantt. Drawn to Art: Sunday Sketch Session invites visitors to experience the museum in a new way through observation, reflection, and sketching. Upon arrival in the Museum Store, participants will receive a sketchbook, graphite pencil and a prompt sheet designed to inspire creative exploration throughout the galleries.
As you explore the artwork, you'll be encouraged to select pieces, colors, shapes, stories and themes that resonate with you and create your own sketches inspired by what you see. Whether you're an experienced artist or picking up a pencil for the first time, this relaxed and welcoming program offers a fun, low-pressure opportunity to connect more deeply with the art and express your creativity.
