Call for Artists, Creatives & Educators

  • About This Program

    The Mecca of Digital Arts (MODA) at the Harvey B. Gantt Center is seeking local artists, creatives, educators, and interdisciplinary practitioners to collaborate with us on an upcoming year of creative programming.

    We’re looking for teaching artists and program partners interested in creating engaging experiences that connect art, technology, creativity, and community. Opportunities may include:

    • Workshops and hands-on learning experiences
    • Artist talks and conversations
    • Community programs and activations
    • Creative and digital experiences
    • K-12 field trip activities

    Areas of interest include graphic design, illustration, photography, 2D and 3D art, digital art, and interdisciplinary practices. Artists working across all mediums and creative practices are encouraged to apply. Please note: These are paid opportunities, all teaching artist are compensation based on the scope and format of the work.

    To be considered, send an mail to studio@ganttcenter.org with the subject line "Application Submission" and include:

    • Your desired area(s) of interest
    • Resume or CV
    • Portfolio or website, if available
    • A brief description of what you’d like to teach or how you'd like to get involved
    • Teaching or community engagement experience, if applicable
    • General availability

    The deadline to apply is September 2.
