About This Program
The Gantt Center joins with our community partners once again to celebrate the life and legacy of Romare Bearden. Join us at Romare Bearden Park and create watercolor paintings inspired by the renowned artist’s time in the Caribbean. Complimentary tours of our current exhibitions, 40 Years and Counting, Highlights from the John and Vivian Hewitt Collection, and Selected Works of J. Eugene Grigsby, Jr.: Returning to Where the Artistic Seed Was Planted will also take place throughout the day.
Tours will take place at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Meet Gantt Center staff on the corner of S. Church and W. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. minutes before the start of your selected tour.
