  • About This Program

Take a break, bring a friend, and join us for an inspiring midday experience ... for free!

Join us at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for ArtBreak, a free 30-minute guided tour. HerStory in Praise: Women as Living Archives is a dynamic exploration of the exhibition Praise House: Adama Delphine Fawundu. This tour centers women’s history, honoring the ways Black women carry memory, spirituality, resilience, and cultural knowledge across generations. Together, we’ll reflect on how women serve as living archives, preserving the stories of the African diaspora through their bodies, voices, and traditions.

Take a meaningful pause in your day and join us for this midday exhibition tour celebrating women's history through art. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
