  • About This Program

In collaboration with Better Luck TMRW, Art After Dark: Claiming Your Throne celebrates the power, creativity, and leadership of Black women, honoring their ability to build, influence, and thrive across spaces. Inspired by the Gantt’s newest exhibition, In Pursuit of Home, the evening reflects themes of belonging, legacy, and self-determination while celebrating Women’s History Month.

Attendees will enjoy live jazz, hip hop, and R&B performances in the Grand Lobby, interactive playlist activations, and a floral-inspired photoshoot backdrop. The night features a fireside chat - Building Your Empire, alongside hands-on workshops like bouquet and candle making, as well as a vendor market highlighting Black women–owned businesses. The evening concludes with a Better Luck TMRW DJ lineup, inviting guests to connect, create, and step confidently into their throne within the dynamic energy of Art After Dark.
