Learning at The Gantt
The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture offers Early Childhood and K-12 guided tours and workshops that are perfect for independent and public schools and homeschools. We invite you to join us for a range of dynamic experiences – inspired by the exhibitions on view – that explore African-American history, art, and culture, and that of the African Diaspora.
Guided tours, public programs, and workshops support the Gantt Center’s mission by encouraging life-long learning for people of all ages.
Our Family First programs offer parents and children the opportunity to explore the world of art together. Student and Teacher programs allow students and their teachers to investigate the important role art plays in life and learning. Through our Adult programs, visitors participate in extensive multidisciplinary programs that make lasting impressions.
