Giving Tuesday CLT

  • About This Program

Join the movement to #GiveGood this November during #GivingTuesdayCLT. The Gantt Center is excited to join Share Charlotte and 235 other Charlotte-area nonprofits during this two-week campaign (November 14-28) to encourage Charlotte to give back to the nonprofits doing good in our community.

Your contribution helps to provide critical financial support for a wide range of educational and outreach programs, exhibitions and conservation of the Gantt Center's expanding permanent collection. #GiveGood and #GivetoGantt this #GivingTuesdayCLT.

    Where does my contribution go?

With your contribution we can continue to present, preserve and celebrate excellence in the arts, history and culture of African-Americans and those of African descent. For as little as $20, you can support the Harvey B. Gantt Center and Charlotte’s local artists.

    Why do you #GiveToGantt?

Keith Clark"The Gantt Center is important because of its mission to the community: The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts+Culture presents, preserves and celebrates excellence in the art, history and culture of African-Americans and those of African descent."

Keith Clark, Gantt Center Board of Directors, Senior Vice President The PNC Financial Services Group

Ashley Mahoney"The Gantt Center was the first cultural institution I visited when I came to Charlotte and I’ve always had fond memories and experiences not only in a professional capacity but as a Charlottean. The messages they tell throughout events and exhibits cultivate great civic discussions."

Ashley Mahoney, Journalist, The Charlotte Post
