  • About This Program

This month’s Family First is going outdoors as part of the Levine Center for the Arts #LongLiveArts FREE Community Festival. Bring an old T-shirt or tote bag to the Gantt Center for this month’s Family First: Hot Off the Press with local entrepreneur, Ndelo. Turn something old into something new by creating your own work of art, live on the screen printing press.

    ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Creative Director and first generation Congolese-American, Eric B. Ndelo has made it his life’s mission to spread international awareness of “The Beauty & The Beast of the African Diaspora.” With an emphasis on highlighting the vibrancy of Afrikan Youth Culture, he co-founded the apparel brand DRC ApeParel, LTD., as a "Cool & Conscious" way of life for street culture enthusiasts. Ndelo’s brand is inspired by the global community and MacFly Fresh Printing Co., a Charlotte-based creative design and screen printing company dedicated to creating high quality prints, building brands and fresh visual identities.
