  • About This Program

Batik is a technique of manual wax-resist dyeing applied to fabric. A tradition of making batik is found in various countries, including Nigeria, China, India, Malaysia, Philippines and Sri Lanka; however, the batik of Indonesia is the most well-known.

Participants will learn an alternative way to make batik art using glue and acrylic paint. This family friendly workshop is available for children ages 4 and older.
